On a day when parts of Colorado was shut down due to blizzard conditions, District 5 Warriors came together for Months meeting at VFW Post 4051. By meeting time most of the snow was gone, the wind died down, and conditions improved in the city. End of year 2016 videos, produced by Scrappy and Hacker, were handed out to the General Membership. In good nature and with deserving stories road names were handed out: Sugar Baby and Bromance.

Last month the Warriors raised over $400 at the VFW Post 6461 Friday dinners. This money goes to the VFW Warriors events fund. This fund is used for internal functions that support the Warriors and their families. This includes the Warriors annual party.

Mobilejusticeco new web app from the Colorado COC. The app will allow you to record interactions that occur with a biker and the police.  The video is automatically uploaded for review to determine if the stop was due to profiling.

The Warriors voted to support this year’s Defenders of Freedom Ride.  We have for many years supported this ride as well as lead the ride.  2017 brings changes as the ride will be held in Fountain, Colorado. It will start at Sarge’s grill who are pledging to donate 10% of all proceeds earned on the day to the Colorado Homeless Veteran’s Coalition.

Our first ride of the year is the VFW Warriors Fallen Warriors ride on 29 April.
