This poker run is organized by the VFW Warriors of the Colorado VFW.

 McCANDLESS VETERANS HOME VISIT

Every winter the Warriors head out to McCandless Veterans Home in Florence to visit with the veterans and drop off some much needed supplies. The Warriors started this benefit in 2005 on a very cold January morning. 2006 forced the Warriors to take cages due to the snow. 2008 the recon went great and then the snow hit the Springs. Cages again. The Vets appreciated the visit eventhough they didnt get to see the bikes. So we plan to head down in the summer for a little barbeque with the those who came before us. Contact the Warriors to make a donation to this worthy cause.

Fort Carson
Global War on Terrorism (GWOT)Memorial
The Thursday prior to Memorial Day Fort Carson invites the community to Honor the Memory of the fine soldiers of Fort Carson who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of this great nation. The VFW Warriors attend this memorial every year to pay our respects to the Fort Carson Fallen.
